Padlet sandbox

Padlet Sandbox is similar to Jamboard, a digital whiteboard, which offers great opportunities for collaborative learning. You can also use the templates to create games such as the jeopardy game or create your own adventure game. It is easy to use and would appeal to educators who are already familiar with the use of Padlets. The ability to create cards for different groups and hyperlink to the different cards can help to create fun and engaging activities.

Watch the video below - you can also use it to create your own adventure story by hyperlinking the cards. You can even turn it into a game!

Try the template for jeopardy game - https://padlet.com/samplemisha/padlet-jeopardy-fofcldk855n4ob6c

I used the padlet sandbox tool in a CCE lesson on Religions. Each group was given a religion to work with. The group drew the paper containing the assigned religion from a bag and the groups have to read more the religion from a pdf file. The groups then wrote/drew features/clues on the religion on each assigned card on the sandbox. Every member of the group can add on to the card assigned. Feedback from students - its more fun and that it is less laggy than former Jamboard.

You can see the different types of inputs from the members of the group - some prefer to write, some to draw and some to type. You can see the students work on the cards simultaneously synchronized.

Some prefer to write and draw.

Some prefer to add images and type.
